Pent up grudge

1 of my friends totally blew off wishing me a happy birthday 1.5 months ago. I thought I'd be able to get past it but she says happy birthday to everyone BUT me. I always remember her birthday. It's really bothering me. She talks about her other fandoms besides our mutual favorite at ton more than I would like. I want to tell her off but I don't know if I should

My newest Canadian adventures

I went to Niagara Falls for the 3rd annual BFTV concert at the Fallsview Casino. I awoke to a new layer of snow. I immediately turned on the weather because it could delay my trip. Luckily, it was quick moving. I got my hair styled. I got there and I was able to check in early. As I was getting out of the elevator, I saw Greg Grunberg from Heroes. He knew who I was and we exchanged pleasantries. I got to my room and it overlooked the falls. I met Kat and we chilled for a little bit until we decided to explore the casino. We went to get the tickets at will call and ran into Kat's favorite - Bob Guiney. She got a picture with him. I knew she needed a drink so I took her to Canyon Creek. After we came out, my friends told me that Adrian had walked through. Missed him going into sound check. We did more exploring and we went back to Canyon Creek for dinner. Dinner was great but expensive. Should have had the appetizer. After dinner, Kat & Amy went to Kat's hotel. Amy came back over to my room at 730pm. I wish I had been downstairs because I has missed Adrian walking out of sound check. We did go down for the concert at 8:20pm. I hit my seat and waited the 40 minutes. The show started with a video then the lights came back up. The band wasn't ready. Then 5 minutes later, the entire theater went black. Everyone came except Hugh but Teri Hatcher joined instead. Adrian looked so amazing. No stubble. Rock God. The band played a good chunk of their favorites along with new covers. At the finale, I went to usual spot and then Adrian went wireless for the first time and I was psyched. Jesse stole the show as usual and got a standing ovation. Adrian and I spoke a little bit about post show. R5 was the spot. We walked out & walked up to R5 but it was mega busy. I came back down and hung out in front of the theater. Adrian walked out and we hugged immediately. I asked for a picture but he wanted to change his shirt. I asked if he was back up to R5 and he said yes. I went to R5 and about 15 minutes Adrian back up and went to the VIP area. Saw and hugged Scott, Bob, Grunny. I left Adrian to tell stories. Around 12, some girls asked for pictures and he obliged. I waited until he was done. We hugged again and talked about TLG (which he's never seen), Milo. We had to take a close quarters photo, I kissed my right eye so technically I'm officially a Pasdarian/Ventimiglian now. It was so hot from the fireplaces that I had to blot my face several times. I ordered 2 rum & cokes & a Bellini. They were so good. 150 arrived and I managed to get a 3rd goodnight hug from Adrian. We decided to walk back to the hotel but security was against it. Boo. stupidity hit and never said goodbye and good night to my friends. I just wanted my bed. I got to my room and I shivered so bad that I had to take a hot shower. I slept restlessly for 6 hours. I got cleaned up and left. I wish I had stayed around until 11am at least.

Another post about a certain over exposed celebrity.

Why do I have to see EW posting an article about ZQ doing this or that wonderful thing. Who cares? I see stuff about him every couple of days. I so want to unfollow tweet feeds but I can't. I rather see Milo Ventimiglia or Adrian Pasdar or Gabriel Macht news. Can we go a month without his name being mentioned whatsoever. Ugh!! Yes he's nice looking but who cares.

Vent session

No one knows me here so I'm going to vent a lot. Work vent:I was working on a problem with a tech and LAB was suddenly in the account when she wasn't in it beforehand. Shannon & I asked her to back out as I was going to IM LAB. She backed out of the account. She's always butting in and making high school drama. I wish she'd leave or retire.

ZQ vent: ZQ is overrated actor. Everyone I know loves him-NBC(chose him over AP in HEROES). He has a new movie & he won theater awards. Big deal. I don't care one bit. I want to see Milo & Adrian get HUGE acknowledgment.

Fall TV season vent: 1st strike-Breaking In canceled. 2nd supposed strike:No Wonder Woman pickup Waiting on 3rd strike:Help Wanted yes or no.

Good fortunes abound for my guys

Pink princess coming at ya peeps. It's been awhile since I posted. My guys seem to have good fortunes lately. Starting with Milo Ventimiglia, He filmed 'The Divide' last May & June. Hopefully, we'll see it sometime this year. Also Rest was given a script commitment from NBC. I hope for a pilot pickup in May. He's also filming a thriller called 'Static'. It's suppose to be 3D. Oohlala MV in 3D.

Now,time to talk about Adrian Pasdar. It's been more than a year since his brush with the law. He's definitely turned his fortunes around for the better. I met him and got photos this past February. He guest starred on a 2 part Castle arc. I wish he had wanted to spin off the character. The other week, news came out that he was doing a comedy pilot for Kari Lizer for NBC. Comedy-who knew? One needs to see his comedic genius on his website-www.youtube.com/user/buckshotwon.

The last piece of news was just announced in San Francisco on Saturday at WonderCon. Milo Ventiiglia will voice Wolverine for Marvel Anime. Adrian Pasdar will voice Iron Man for Marvel Anime also. Iron Man premieres in July. I bet serious money that hijinks have occurred in the voice studio. Prayers for these 2 actors to work together again have been answered. I'd love to see a big press tour for this but I doubt it.

July 21st-I woke up at 3:30am because I was too excited to get away from responsbility for a 1/2 week. The flights across country were silky smooth. A brontosaurus skeleton greeted me as I got the plane in Chicago. I got into San Diego 1/2 hour early. My hotel room was ready when I arrived. I met up with Carrie from NY. My hotel was literally 3 blocks east of SDCC.Everyday I had to walk 2 blocks west and around the corner in front of the Hard Rock Hotel and cross W Harbor Dr. We were led on a wild goose chase to get our badges but we did end up getting them. Since the exhibit hall didn't open until 6pm, Carrie & I hit the Fox Sports Grill where we relaxed for a long while. The Hilton Bayfront is uber modern. Once the exhibit floor opened, I hit all the booths in 2 hours-The WB, Archaia, Top Cow & Marvel. At that point, jetlag was catching up with me and I headed back to the hotel to grab some eats, soak my weary feet and relax.

July 22 The only panel that I wanted to see was the TV composer panel with Wendy/Lisa from Heroes and Nathan Barr from True Blood.I also met@taurenlegend aka Chandler Poling. He's super cool.I walked the floor and took pictures. I met Brea Grant from Heroes. We had our 1st DSC meetup at Analog which was8 blocks from my hotel. I had some pub eats. I sent out a text to dividepictures since I had no wifi. I learned later that night that it was answered but we had already left to head our separate ways for the night. Next time, I'll have a smart phone. As we werre headed our separate ways, we saw Penn of Penn & Teller. He's super tall. We passed by the Machete taco trucks on the way to Analog. We also saw body painted girls inviting us to stop by a bar called Decos.

July 23 was my adrenaline day. Isa and I had a huge breakfast at the Marriott Marina pool. I wish I knew about this place in 2008. I would've gotten breakfast then. 4 signings and 3 panels . I hit 2 of the 3 panels and 1 out of the 4 signings.I dropped theCaprica signing since I didn't think I could get into ballroom 20. Met Dennis Calero and Todd Stashwick. We talked Heroes for a bit. I saw the Event panel. It looks interesting eventhough it's taking the place of my beloved Heroes. I didn't hit the Tim Kring signing since it was too difficult to get a ticket. The True Blood signing was capped at 100 people. I wanted to do that. I couldn't find the Wowio boat to meet Oliver Grigsby and Jason Badower. I really wanted to meet them. I did hit the Milo signing. He remembered me. He called me 'Tams'. Only close friends are allowed to call me that. I also got a hug. It felt awesome.I got my blu ray signed along with the Berserker hard cover. I also got a picture with him & he smiled ever so slightly. Taffy got the best pictures with him though hands down. We got to talk to Dino. He apologized for not hanging out with us after dinner in 08. I told him I was cool with it because things happen that are out of our hands. They challenged us to a light saber fight in 2008. That would have been cool. Cie La Vie.I also was unable to get into the True Blood panel. After the signing, we decided to hit Nobu that night. We had a late dinner at Broken Yolk and walked down to Nobu. We walked in and 'friends' walked in behind us and asked "Why so quiet?" Our response was we had just walked into the bar. They left but not before MV touched my back right between my shoulder blades. Wethen headed to the Syfy Cafe. Leanne from London that the TB cast was in the back room at Nobu. I went back and ordered a strong screwdriver and saw Anna Paquin from a distance. I had dessert and we hung out until midnight. Jet lag gone.

July 24 was the day of the Top Cow panel and the a suprise 2nd MV signing. Also that day was the Thor/Captain America/Avengers panel. I met RJ who worked with Wendi on Heroes. I waited two hours for the Thor signing only to find out that Hall H was at capacity. I should have slept outside for that panel but I only did that for HEROES. I skipped out on the line and went back to my hotel to relax before dinner. Quynh, Taffy and I ended up the Palm Restaurant where we ran into Stan Lee. That was totally awesome. Afterwards we were going to hit 5th Avenue but we went across the street to Hotel Solamar to watch the arrivals for the EW/Syfy party. We saw Joss Whedon, Chris Evans, Mischa Collins,Jensen Ackles, the cast of Glee & True Blood, Seth McFarlane, Zachary Levy,Adam Baldwin, Bryan Fuller, Seth Green and Nathan Fillion.

July 25th was a day to relax. We slept in and had breakfast at the Mission. We walked past the beautiful park like gates for Petco Park. I wish I had taken pictures. The food was awesome. I had pancakes and home fries. We then went back to the hotel. I fell back asleep while my roommate went shopping. When she came back, we barhopped J6, 207 & McCormick & Schmick's. I had some amazing sole there. I wish I had hit the Altitude Sky Bar, the Marriott Marina pool & KC BBQ. All in all, it was a fun weekend but too short. Next time, I need to catch a train up to LA to do some sightseeing and hit the Waffle, Malibu, Venice Beach, and the Foundry.
